IP Awareness Summit (IPAS 2022)
The fifth annual Intellectual Property Awareness Summit (IPAS 2022) returns this year on April 5th to the SF-Bay Area. This year’s event will be both in-person and virtual for those unable to travel.
IPAS 2022 is a gathering of IP owners, creators, educators, lawyers, organizations and investors, all with a common goal – to explore ways to make the benefits of IP rights, and the issues surrounding them, more apparent to key audiences.
Topics to be addressed this year include:
Entrepreneurship and Diversity – Do strong IP rights help or hinder them?
The IP Understanding Disconnect – What is it? Why it matters? What to do about it?
The Impact of ‘Virtual’ Property on IP – AI, blockchain and NFTs
China, Covid and Global Threats – IP’s role in maintaining an innovation edge
Building Bridges
The IP Awareness Summit® is the only annual event that examines the impact of IP awareness on innovation, content, people and value – and the strategies for improving it. IPAS 2022 will provide those who attend an excellent opportunity for discussion and networking in a conducive setting.
IPAS 2022 hosts are the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU) and the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, Institute for Business Innovation. Additional hosting is being provided by the Tusher Initiative for the Management of Intellectual Capital. This year’s theme is ‘the Future of Intellectual Property’.
