USIPA Corporate IP Roundtable 2026
- Qualcomm - from Patent Literacy to Global Commercialization
In collaboration with the Global IP Alliance (GLIPA), the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), and state IP alliances, our flagship program the Corporate IP Roundtable featured Sudeepto Roy, VP Engineering at Qualcomm, as keynote speaker this time, talking about IP as the practical system that keeps innovation investable, capacity building programs like TIPA and L2Pro, company’s efforts on widening access to invention, patent literacy, and global commercilaization across country ecosystems.
The session brought together more than 150 participants via streaming and through watch parties held across national locations (California, Georgia, Texas) and one international site in Bogotá, Colombia.
Many thanks to Mauricio Uribe, USIPA, and GLIPA Board Member Maria Fernanda Hurtado, GLIPA Executive Director, as well as Sanchita Barman from GreyB's technical support team, for their involvement and leadership in making this initiative a reality.

Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
This month, USIPA is excited to highlight the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), a trade organization that supports and promotes the creative and financial vitality of the major music companies. Its members comprise the most vibrant record industry in the world, investing in great artists to help them reach their potential. The RIAA works to protect the intellectual property and First Amendment rights of artists and music labels; conduct consumer, industry and technical research; and monitor and review state and federal laws, regulations and policies.
